Inaugural Read: Under the Volcano by Malcolm Lowry
We'll take this one slowly. People lead busy lives. Shall we say the first two chapters, which look to be about 60-something pages, by some point next week? What evenings are good? And where?
And how!
And how!

wednesday no good for me. I think I can swing all others.
Any night is good for me. Sixty sounds like a good amount. I can do that.
Sounds interesting. Monday nights are bad for me though.
i wannin.
katie,
that - or you can recite your thoughts to a cockatoo that can fly down here and tell us.
for anyone going to buy the book:
I'll make my edition the official edition, in case mofos start citing page numbers, it's the it's the 2000 First Perennial Classics edition with the intro by Stephen Spender. It's the pb most commonly available right now.
I've checked an unofficial, older edition out of my library-- so no Spender intro.
I'll join...but at this late notice i'll have to see if I can get the book and make time to read it. Will we be meeting in person?
yes, off and on, tuesday's is mostly a meet-n-greet to figure logistics and just how we want to do this and at what pace.
