change of venue

Hi, I just found out that we can't use the DotCom. There is a play rehearsal and it wasn't on the calender. The Diplomat said we can meet at his house at 8:00 p.m.

1st meeting Aug. 29. Through chapter 25, page 160.
2nd meeting Sept. 12. Through the end of Part 1, page 325.
3rd meeting Sept. 26. Through end of Part 2, page 446.
4th meeting Oct. 10. Finish book.

Ada At Last

Sorry so long in getting this down, it's been one crazy summer for most of us, as evidenced by almost effin no one picking up the damn book from my effin house. So, shall we say, for the next meeting read...the chapter ending closest to page 120 by the 22nd, or the chapter ending closest to page 180 on the 29th? Lemme know. Pick up your books. Or we can meet at lem-com one evening and I can hand them out. I don't need 8 copies of this book. You know who you are who asked me to order one for you. I know who you are too.

I'm assuming that we aren't meeting tomorrow night but I just want to make sure. I had reserved the DotCom building so I need to tell them we will not be using it.

They're here

I think they got here monday. They were in the porch side nook by Diplomats front door. I just happened to look over there and see them, so who knows, they might have been there before. But it seems like I would have seen them over the weekend if that was the case. Anyhow they're ready for consumption. It's likely we'll need to move back the first meeting.

What's up with the books? Have they gotten here and if so do we have a reading schedule? I know the Diplomat has been out of town but I think we are scheduled to meet on the 8th. I didn't order a book so I just want to make sure I haven't missed the notice.
